ACTIVITY OPTIONS

 

 

Based on our your requirements for the group and our suggestions, we will plan and deliver your group venture with you, however, you may well require something different. We are very keen for every group to be entirely bespoke, so here are a few options to consider:

  • Battlefields of South Africa (Single of multi-day options with an expert historian)

  • Battlefields entry | Hiking to specific battlefields is also an option. Following what we believe to be old Zulu supply routes to Ulundi, these are historically relevant single or multi-day hikes.

  • Mountain hiking (multi-day options available)

  • River paddling (multi-day options available)

  • Bush hiking (multi-day options available)

  • Mountain biking (multi-day options available)

  • Specific animal tracking and research projects

  • Full or part duration survival or anti-poaching course

  • Community projects: School, Orphanage, HIV care center

  • Wildlife conservation or environmental-focused learning

  • River rafting, mountain biking, abseiling, forest canopy zip slide, other adventure sports

SURVIVAL SKILLS

  • Tracking – Spoor identification and interpretation

  • Bush Survival – Water location, fire, cooking, sustenance

  • Flora – Trees, grasses, and shrub identification and medicinal uses

  • Mammals, Birds & Reptiles – Location, identification, and behaviour

  • Reptiles – Snake bite treatment

  • First Aid – Self-medication & natural remedies

  • Animal Anatomy – Skinning, dissection, anatomy study & carcass preparation

  • Bush Cuisine – Sourcing and utilisation

  • Bush Skills: Camouflage, concealment & shelter building

  • Hunting Methods – Snaring and trapping

  • Anti-Poaching: patrol procedures, surveillance

  • Navigation by day and night

BATTLEFIELDS

​We will take your group on foot, and in vehicles to all the key locations of each battle site. Anglo-Zulu War and Anglo-Boer War sites are all possibe. 

Our extremely knowledgeable historian and guide will be with you 100% of the time.

All battlefields can be included in your itinerary, as long as we have the time to do so.
